Legal Disclaimer

No Legal Advice

The information on aravanalaw.com is provided for general informational and advertising purposes only. It is not legal advice, is not a substitute for consulting a licensed attorney about your specific situation, and should not be acted or relied upon. The law changes frequently and varies by state, county, and court, and content on this website may be outdated or inapplicable to your circumstances.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this website does not make us your lawyers. Submitting a form, sending an email, calling our office, leaving voicemail, or using any chat or messaging feature does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not obligate us to represent you or act on your behalf.

An attorney-client relationship exists only after we have evaluated your matter, confirmed we have no conflict of interest, expressly agreed to represent you, and executed a written retainer agreement with you. Until that happens, you alone are responsible for protecting your legal rights and meeting every applicable deadline.

Do Not Send Confidential Information

Please do not send confidential, privileged, or sensitive information through this website or by unencrypted email until a written retainer agreement is signed. Information sent before that point may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege or the work-product doctrine, may not be treated as confidential, and may not prevent us from representing another person in the same or a related matter. Internet and email transmissions are not secure.

Deadlines Are Short and Unforgiving

Personal injury and wrongful death claims are governed by strict deadlines. Missing one will ordinarily bar your claim permanently, no matter how strong it is. Claims against municipalities, transit authorities, school districts, and other public entities in New York generally require a Notice of Claim within ninety (90) days, and claims against public entities in New Jersey generally require a Notice of Tort Claim within ninety (90) days under the New Jersey Tort Claims Act.

Do not use this website to calculate any deadline in your matter. If your matter may be time-sensitive, call (347) 456-8567 now and speak with a person.

Prior Results

Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Any case results, verdicts, settlements, or recoveries described on this website are not a promise or prediction of the result in your matter. Every case turns on its own facts, evidence, liability, available insurance coverage, medical proof, and applicable law. Unless expressly stated otherwise, results reflect gross recovery before deduction of attorneys’ fees, costs, disbursements, and liens.

Testimonials and Recognitions

Any testimonial or endorsement reflects the experience of that individual only and is not a guarantee or prediction of any outcome. No aspect of any advertisement, award, honor, rating, or recognition appearing on this website has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Awards and ratings are conferred by third-party organizations using their own criteria and are not indicative of the quality of legal services to be performed.

Fees and Costs

We handle most personal injury matters on a contingency fee basis, meaning no attorney’s fee is charged unless we obtain a recovery for you. This does not mean representation is free of all charges. Depending on your written retainer agreement and applicable law, you may remain responsible for case costs and disbursements and for satisfying medical liens and subrogation claims from any recovery. Contingency fees are regulated, including under New Jersey Court Rule 1:21-7. The fee arrangement governing your matter will be set out in a written retainer agreement provided to you before representation begins, and nothing on this website modifies that agreement.

Where We Practice

Our attorneys are admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey only. Nothing on this website constitutes the practice of law in, or the solicitation of clients from, any jurisdiction in which our attorneys are not licensed. Where a matter requires representation elsewhere, we may associate with or refer it to licensed local counsel with your informed consent.

Third-Party Content

This website may link to or embed third-party websites, resources, and services. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, legality, or privacy practices.
