Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
ARAVANA LAW is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities have full and equal access to our website, our offices, and our legal services. We believe that access to legal representation should never depend on a person’s disability, and we work to make aravanalaw.com usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
If any part of this website presents a barrier to you, we want to know — and we will get you the information you need another way. Contact us at (347) 456-8567 or info@aravanalaw.com.
Conformance Target
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard most widely referenced in the United States for public-facing websites.
Current status: partially conformant. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of this website may not yet fully meet the standard. Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time project, and we continue to identify and remediate issues as we find them.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we:
- Design and build with accessibility as a requirement, not an afterthought;
- Use semantic HTML structure, including properly nested headings and landmark regions, so screen reader users can navigate by structure;
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and describe the function of non-text content;
- Ensure the site can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
- Maintain sufficient color contrast between text and background, and avoid conveying information by color alone;
- Label all form fields, associate error messages with the fields they concern, and describe required formats in text;
- Support text resizing and browser zoom without loss of content or functionality;
- Avoid content that flashes, and avoid automatically playing audio or video;
- Provide captions for video content that conveys substantive information;
- Test with keyboard navigation, screen magnification, and screen reader software; and
- Review accessibility when we redesign the site or add significant new content.
Known Limitations
We want to be candid about where gaps may exist:
- Third-party content. Some functionality on this website is provided by third parties — including our contact form security tool, mapping features, video players, and review widgets. We do not control the accessibility of third-party code. Where a third-party component creates a barrier, we will provide the same information or service through an alternative channel on request, and we raise accessibility issues with our vendors.
- Documents. Some PDFs or other downloadable documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader use. Request any document in an accessible format and we will provide it.
- Older content. Material published before our current accessibility practices were adopted may not fully conform. We remediate older content as we identify it.

Legal Framework

This statement reflects our good-faith effort and is not a warranty that every page conforms to every standard at every moment. Where we fall short, we want the chance to fix it.
