ARAVANA LAW is a plaintiff-side personal injury practice serving clients in New York and New Jersey. We represent people injured in motor vehicle collisions, on construction sites, and on unsafe property, and we represent families in wrongful death cases. We are growing, and we are hiring in both states.
This is a firm where the work is visible. We are small enough that every person here has real responsibility for real files, and we are building the technology and systems of a much larger practice so that our people spend their time on judgment rather than data entry.
If you want to own your files, learn litigation from the inside, and work directly with the attorney who tries the cases, we would like to hear from you.
To apply for any position, send your resume to ara@aravanalaw.com. Please put the position you are applying for in the subject line. A cover letter is welcome but not required, and every submission is read.
New York & New Jersey
Admission in New York, New Jersey, or both. You will handle your own files from pleadings through discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation, with support and supervision rather than with a script.
For attorneys with jury trial experience in New York or New Jersey who want a book of serious cases, real autonomy, and compensation tied to results rather than billable hours.
Full-time or per diem. Handle summary judgment, threshold and serious injury motions, discovery motions, and appellate briefing. Writing samples required.
Conferences, compliance conferences, oral arguments, and depositions throughout New York City, Long Island, Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and New Jersey. Tell us which courthouses you cover and your per-appearance rate.
Legal research, motion drafting, deposition digests, and courthouse work. You will see the inside of a courtroom.
Structured, supervised opportunities designed to teach, with opportunities for students at schools in New York and New Jersey, including academic credit.
We maintain a standing registry of testifying and consulting experts in both states and are actively expanding it. Retention is on an hourly or flat-fee basis under a written engagement letter. Expert compensation is never contingent on the outcome of a case.
